Hello friends -
What a year.
You’ll probably agree that the one thing consistent in SaaS sales is change.
True for me as well. My change included moving from heading up all sales/revenue with a small-ish SaaS company to now leading a growing team of Enterprise reps.
What I learned as a VP of Sales like creating comp plans, sales processes, systems, structure are still beneficial, but I’m also enjoying learning other important lessons from other amazing sales leaders, reps and focusing on key aspects of what makes a great team, rep and leader.
The one thing that didn’t change?
This newsletter.
Since starting in March of 2020, I haven’t missed a single week of writing. This year was my toughest yet as a new job, more travel and even more personal responsibility threatened my streak.
But I read somewhere that true consistency comes from the pain of NOT doing something being more painful than the pain of actually doing it…and that’s exactly how I have felt some weeks.
But this also means:
